Tuberculosis is a common disease with high morbidity and mortality rates worldwide. Chest radiography plays an important role in screening algorithms. The introduction of digital radiography has made it easier to develop automated systems that detect abnormalities related to tuberculosis in chest radiographs. This thesis describes the development of such an automated system and its evaluation.
